Michael Keaton, an American actor and director best famous for his role in Birdman. A versatile actor, he can perform both dramatic and comedic roles. His professional career has seen him perform a number of romantic characters, and also in action films. While still in his teens the actor began developing an interest in acting as well as performing. In the later years, when he was an aspiring youngster, he tried stand-up humor. While his stand-up comedy wasn't a success, it did in the development of his acting. Inability to make it in the field of comedy, he picked on a position as cameraman on television at a cable channel. It was while working there when he came to the realization that he actually wanted to be present in front of cameras. He then managed to land a TV role, and he appeared in numerous shows on Mister Rogers Neighborhood. An actor with natural talent, he gained popularity quickly on television. After having a successful movie career, his comedic performance earned him lots of attention. His fame was further elevated when he won acclaim for his performance as Batman in Tim Burton's Batman. As time passed, he grew in his acting skills and ventured into production and direction. He was awarded numerous awards and nominations for his performances in the 2014 film Birdman.
